Quota
WiscMail users are given unlimited quota. The WiscMail system monitors customer needs and automatically adjusts quota to ensure accounts have the space needed.
WiscMail Quota Program Details
- WiscMail customers are provided unlimited storage.
- Once your account is activated, the WiscMail system begins monitoring your storage needs and automatically increases quota as needed.
- The quota monitoring process runs weekly. If your account requires an increase in quota between automatic increases the system will generate a quota warning message that will enable you to manually increase the size of your account.
- A periodic "true-up" process will identify accounts that are using far less than their allocations and will readjust quota allocations downward.
Important: Some email clients (desktop clients) may have problems interacting with large accounts. If you begin to have problems, review the client documentation.
The easiest way to monitor your quota is to log into the WiscMail web client with your NetID and password.
