Linux 1
Linux is an open source operating system, which is completely free for anyone to use or modify. Since its conception, Linux has rapidly grown, spawning countless variations and gaining prominence in high¿end computing. Linux belongs to the family of Unix-like operating systems; the skills learned in this course may also be applied to Mac OS X, BSD, or Solaris, among others.

This class has the following prerequisites: None.
Note: If you feel you have adequate experience without taking the prerequisite STS classes,
you can still register, but please review the material before attending the class.
