Mac OS X Basics

This class is an overview of Apple¿s most recent operating system, Mac OS X Leopard (10.5). It aims to introduce many of the useful updates Apple has made since the previous operating system, Mac OS X Tiger.

Topics include:

  • The file browser: Finder
  • The "Dock"
  • The addition of Spaces
  • Screen Sharing
  • Time Machine (Backup)
  • Boot Camp

This class has the following prerequisites: None.

Note: If you feel you have adequate experience without taking the prerequisite STS classes, you can still register, but please review the material before attending the class.
