I wanted to thank you again and let you know what a positive experience STT was. You are a valuable asset to the University and DoIT. What you bring to the table made STT what it is, essential training for industry and life. Not only are you an effective, competent, knowledgeable instructor who provides a comfortable, fun, exciting atmosphere. But also you are a positive role model who teaches respect and responsibility; who stimulates our desire to learn, participate, and think. I come away from STT with so much more than what was designated in the cirriculm. It is with pleasure that I speak about my experience with STT and my experience as your student. I just wanted to take this time to thank you again for your wonderful DoIT student technical training program. With your help, I landed my first campus job (on my first try!) doing technical support and troubleshooting with LSS services in Van Hise. I'm loving the job so far, and I really feel I'm doing well because of the immense information I learned during your two-weekcourse.So basically, I just wanted to give you a holler, let you know you are the man, and last but not least, truly commend you and your staff for the wonderful STT program. Thanks for such a rock solid class. In fact that should be the motto of the course. Core IT: Rock solid. And I would agree. Core IT: The pain is only temporary...I did walk away with more knowledge than I came in with...You did teach quality work ethics and life skills that I will take with me for the rest of my life.
