Experience:

For over 15 years, I have devoted my professional energies to the world of application support, training and development. I joined DoIT in August of 2008. After graduating from college, I took a two-year stint teaching at a satellite campus for Purdue University. After that, I spent four years in the manufacturing industry, training and supporting a computer-aided design application. Then, I spent two years teaching MS Office applications. And, most recently, I come from the health care industry, where I spent time in application support and development. Throughout this time, I have always enjoyed being in front of a classroom and helping people learn how to do their job better. I draw a lot energy and encouragement from the demands of teaching, working with people from all backgrounds, and learning how to communicate with all the different personalities. In my free time, I enjoy the basics: reading (currently, a bit of a US military war buff), traveling (near and far), fishing (still a rank amateur, pun intended), going to Mallards games (Weee-ner), and spending time with my family (wonderful wife, and pre-teen daughter). And, I am personally convinced that, whatever is going on in life, a couple of warm original glazed doughnuts from Krispy Kreme will make it just a little better.
