Education:

Carolyn graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a Certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).

Experience:

Carolyn joined the Professional Technical Education team in February 2008. She brings technical and teaching experience from previous work with two student-focused training programs in DoIT: Software Training for Students (STS) and Information Technology Academy (ITA). With both ITA and STS, Carolyn took part in developing new lessons, projects, and courses for the various technologies used in the programs, as well as holding lead instructor and managerial roles. With PTE, Carolyn designs curriculum and class materials, stays up-to-date on the newest software releases, and also serves on web-based training projects. Outside of work, Carolyn enjoys: cooking, biking, gardening, reading, traveling, arts and crafts, meditation, and music.
