Use the [*] key to:
- Exit from a menu (return to previous menu).
- Cancel the previous action
- Leave the system from the main menu.
- Identify yourself as a user.
Use [**] to:
- Quickly return to the main menu from a sub-menu.
- Leave the system (this is the proper way to back out of the Voice Mail system).
Use the [#] key to:
- Complete a step.
- Skip a message you are reviewing.
- Send a message.
- Identify yourself as a user.
- Skip a personal greeting (you cannot skip an extended absence greeting).
Use [##] to:
- Skip all new messages to get to your archived messages.
Use the [0] key to:
- Hear more options or play all available options.
- For outside callers, they can get out of your mailbox and reach the designated operator escape.
