Cellular Services
Cellular service is available by departmental purchase only. DoIT Voice Services coordinates the service and equipment purchases in accordance with the State of Wisconsin cellular contracts. U.S. Cellular is the primary vendor for all voice and data services. Verizon is the secondary vendor that can be used if U.S. Cellular cannot meet your technical needs. There are no charges to initiate or discontinue service.
UW employees may be reimbursed for the cost of a mobile hand-held device with their supervisor’s prior approval. The voice/data plan is solely the employee’s responsibility.
Upon leaving employment, the employee must return the mobile device to their department.
