Calling Cards
Calling Cards
CenturyLink calling cards are available for University personnel as a convenient way to charge work related calls made from any telephone to a campus account. Calling cards are available for departmental purchases only.
Ordering
To order a CenturyLink calling card, send an email to voice.services@doit.wisc.edu. For authorization purposes, email requests will only be accepted from previously approved departmental staff whose names are on file with DoIT Voice Services. If you don’t know who this is, please use this form to obtain that information. For further questions, call DoIT Voice Services at 262-5544.
Please include the following information in the email:
- complete funding string to be billed for the calling card calls
- the name of the individual using the card
- the name and campus address where the card should be sent
CenturyLink calling cards are not connected to a specific centrex telephone number, so any funding changes must be submitted on a funding change request form and sent to DoIT Billing (the same as changes to telephone or cell phone funding are currently handled).
To cancel a CenturyLink calling card, send an email to voice.services@doit.wisc.edu (see above authorization requirement). Include the ten digit calling card number, the funding and the individual user name in the email.
If you have additional questions, please contact DoIT Voice Services at voice.services@doit.wisc.edu or call 262-5544.

Please be aware that international calls made using calling cards can be very expensive, especially if you’re calling to a cell phone. Please call this toll free number before traveling to verify that the country from which you will be calling is not currently blocked.
