On Demand:
The on demand video option allows you to save a live event for future reference or convert existing video libraries to streamable media and make it available to your audience online. The video files can be compressed and edited for a high quality final video. Generally takes up less bandwidth than a live event. Costs less than a live event.

Example: One of 22 hour long videos from the Wonders of Physics series created by Professor Clint Sprott to intrest elementary school students in Physics. Existing DVD's of his annual extravaganza were converted into Windows Media Format for online viewing and to increase the potential audience for this original educational material.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Example: Professor Roberta hill has used supplemental video to add interest and comprehension of the African experience in her African Studies 452. This example is of an African nightclub illustrating African nightlife. These videos are offered in addition to the required course materials.


 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Example: DoIT All Staff meeting. Streamed live during the event for employees unable to attend the event in person. Also available to DoIT employees unable to be present or tune into the event after the fact via archive on secure intranet. This convienience has made the all staff meeting available to more staff members.
