Rate Details
Time-and-Materials (T&M) = $70.00/hour ¹
Regular, non-warranty, non-contract hourly charge for all desktop support, setup, installation, troubleshooting, and repair on any software or hardware. RaDS provides equipment pickup and delivery for campus departments at no additional charge. There is a minimum 1 hour service charge for most in-shop work including diagnosis where no trouble is found.
Priority Service = $105.00/hour ¹
Priority service provides a response from RaDS within 24 hours of the request (next business day). This applies to both in-shop and onsite services.
Emergency Service = $140.00/hour ¹
Emergency service provides a response from RaDS within 2 hours of the request. This applies to in-shop and on-site services.
Warranty Service for Apple, Dell, and HP = No Charge to Customer ¹
DoIT is an authorized warranty service center for Apple and Dell computers and for HP laser printers. Coverage varies depending on the manufacturer and the specific product. Software is never covered by hardware manufacturer’s warranties and a service call resulting in software troubleshooting and repair is billable to the customer. Also, manufacturer’s warranties make no provision for protecting, saving, or transferring operating systems, applications, or customer data. If these services are required they are always billable to the customer.
After-hours Scheduled Service = $105.00/hour
This service is provided as part of RaDS’ effort to accommodate campus customers who require extended hours of service either at the start or end of the day. This service must be scheduled 3 business days in advance so we can plan and adjust to your exception.
Equipment pickup and delivery at campus locations or University offices located off campus is provided at no additional cost.
All HP LaserJet printers are repaired onsite at no additional cost.
