Reserve your time with WiscCal's new scheduling feature
Wednesday, August 19, 2009
A new WiscCal feature lets you reserve a block of time during which other designated WiscCal users can schedule an appointment with you. Called Scheduling Assistant, the new service enhances the appointment creation functions of WiscCal, especially for academic advisors and their assigned advisees.
WiscCal Scheduling Assistant was originally developed to enable School of Nursing students to schedule meetings with academic advisors during times set by the advisors. While advisors will continue to find it useful for sharing their schedule with their advisees, the feature has been extended to the broader population of WiscCal users. Administrators or managers, for example, can use Scheduling Assistant to set aside times for their staff to schedule one-on-one meetings.
