DoIT entrances open during construction
Thursday, March 12, 2009
A large-scale project to upgrade UW’s major electric and telecommunications infrastructure means DoIT visitors may want to consider alternate entrances until summer. Barricades and fencing will be up along the entire block of Dayton Street, between Randall Avenue and Charter Street, until initial work is completed.
Visitors are advised to use the east entrance on Charter Street near the railroad tracks or the west entrance near Union South. Access from Dayton Street will remain open, but placement of fencing and barricades will continually change as construction progresses. The DoIT Tech Store, Help Desk, Repair and other services will all remain open during construction.
Please note that the east entrance is not handicap accessible.
