The WiscWorld dial pool now consists of over a thousand 56k modems. Users who experience connectivity problems should visit the Help Desk Web site or call 264-HELP(4357).
Campus VPN service – why you might need it
A Virtual Private Network (VPN) lets you use your remote connection as though you were still on campus. VPN is needed to access restricted campus resources when you are using a remote connection such as private DSL or Cable Modem service, a hotel or airport connection, etc. VPN service is free. You will need to download a client (Windows and Macintosh versions available) and install it. More about VPN.
