
My WebSpace Commons, is a web site community companion for My WebSpace.
This service is devoted to people in the University of Wisconsin-Madison community that have created web sites or other content within their My WebSpace account that they wish to share globally.
This opt-in service was created in response to individuals and departments who have created content within their My WebSpace account that they wish to have appear in Internet search engine listings. Sites found here can be indexed by popular search engines, including Google.
Features of My WebSpace Commons include: the ability to create RSS feeds for users, tagged site listings; and site searching capabilities.
To get started, you need to be a current My WebSpace user. If you have not yet created your My WebSpace account, please go to My WebSpace first and log in. If you are already a My WebSpace user, you can register to use My WebSpace Commons at https://mywebspace.wisc.edu/commons . Once you have registered you can list and tag any of your My WebSpace sites. For your own safety, please read the Privacy and Terms of Service statements. When you list content with My WebSpace Commons, the content you list may be found by anyone on the Internet.
My WebSpace accounts that are not listed within the Commons service retain the same levels of confidentiality and privacy that they have always had.
