Request Record Info
Request Student Record that shows courses, grades, notations, etc.
View your DARS report to determine requirements completed and yet required to complete your current program or another program. - Dropping or changing courses? Check your DARS report first
- Nearing graduation soon? Check DARS regularly.
Obtain proof of enrollment (for insurance and other purposes) through the Enrollment Verification link to the National Student Clearinghouse.
Check Tuition Account & Financial Aid Status
It?s time to reapply for financial aid for next aid year: - Be sure to complete your FAFSA
- Use the "Application Status" link in View Financial Aid to track your progress
Ensure that all your financial aid has been disbursed to your account.
If you expect a refund and have not received it, verify when it was issued and the address it was sent to. If you have not received it within 10 business days after the issued date, please contact the Bursar's Office.
Verify tuition amount due and due date if you, your parent or guardian:- have not received your spring bill
- think that your account balance might have changed.
Make a tuition e-Check payment.
Update Contact Information & Restrict Third Party Mail
Update your emergency contact information. This is critical, should an emergency arise. - Use the Emergency Contact link to view and update emergency contact information.
- Use the Cell Phone link to view and update your cell phone information.
Review your residence for tuition status.
Verify and update your billing address to ensure timely delivery of your tuition bill.- Add a second billing address if you want your tuition bill sent to more than one address.
Keep your mailing address up-to-date to receive important mail from the University.- UW-Madison residence hall addresses for first year students only are automatically loaded into the Student Center as a Mailing address.
- If you are not a first year student in a UW-Madison residence hall, update your mailing and home addresses as appropriate.
Under the "go to..." dropdown, you can...- Place a third party hold on your record if you want to receive less junk mail.

Verify Your Enrollment
Summary Grid - A quick view of classes you are enrolled in for this term.
My Class Schedule link- View details of your class schedule, including class time, location, credit and honors selected, audit or Pass/Fail assigned, and instructor.
Grid link- View and print a Monday-Friday and hourly grid of your enrolled classes.
Check Holds
View holds on your record. Holds may prohibit enrollment activities and prevent you from ordering an official transcript. The "details" section provides specific information about the hold and where to clear it.
Consult with Your Advisor
Information about your advisor(s) and their role in advising. - View your advisor information in the details section.

Planning to graduate this year? If yes, you need to apply for graduation (if you have not already done so)!
Use the Apply for Graduation link to do the following: - Update your Expected Graduation Term
- Tell us if you plan to attend a commencement ceremony
Note to Masters and Doctoral candidates through the Graduate School: you should apply for graduation by submitting a "warrant" in your department.
