Content and Features
The My UW-Madison portal provides campus users a single, unified point of access (via NetID and
password) to data from a complex array of campus sources. Every individual has a custom portal view that
is based upon his or her relationship to the University.
The custom portal views include:
The content and layout of the modules can be easily customized to suit a user’s personal preference.
Organization
The portal is organized into several tabs, and under each are numerous modules of information (e.g., links,
applications, data) related to the tab subject. Depending on the user’ s relationship to the University, the tab
names and modules may differ.
