Date the member joined the list.Status

Type of mail the member is receving. The different kinds are:mail - receives individual emails for each message posted to the list as soon as they are sent.

Importing Members
You can import members to your list from a text file or a CSV (comma separated values) file. To do this, choose "Import members from file" from the drop down menu at the top of the Members table. Here is how to format each file for a successful import:
Text File
Each email address and name must be on a separate line. Each line can have the following formats:
bob@example.com
bob@example.com Bob Shelby
bob@example.com (Bob Shelby)
Bob Shelby <bob@example.com>
Save the file with the .txt extension.
Comma Separated Values File
The first line of the file defines what columns you will be entering values for, separated by commas. Each subsequent line will be one entry with the values separated by commas. You can build this file with most spreadsheet software, such as Microsoft Excel. For a list of column names, click on the "view member columns" button. Here is an example:
EmailAddr_,FullName_,Company,Phone
bob@example.com,Bob Shelby,Shelby Corp.,555-555-5555
Save the file with the .csv extension.
Import Options
The following outlines the options available to you when importing
members:
- File type - choose "email addresses and optional names"
if you are supplying a text file or "CSV file with first row column names"
if you are supplying a CSV file. These file types are explained above.
- Action - choose from one of these four actions:
- Import quiety as regular members - adds the members
to the list without sending confirmation notices or hello messages to
the members.
- Import as regular members and send list hello doc -
adds the members to the list, sending each one a welcome message. See
Automatic Messages to setup a hello
document. Confirmation messages are not sent.
- Import as uncomfirmed members, and send confirmation request
- adds the members with "needs-confirm" status. Members will
be sent a confirmation notice, which they will have to reply to in order
to become full members.
- Update existing members? - if using a CSV file, you
can have ListManager overwrite existing members with the new data. Data
will only be overwritten if the CSV file has an email address or member
ID matching a listing in the Members table.
- Terminate import - set how many entries must fail to
be imported before aborting. If a large number of entries are not being
imported, there could be something wrong with the way you formatted your
file. Setting this too large may result in corrupted data in your members
table.
- Select file - browse for the text or CSV file on your computer here.
- Import quiety as regular members - adds the members
to the list without sending confirmation notices or hello messages to
the members.
