Email Lists

DoIT offers several types of email distribution lists and supporting services.

  • WiscList
    Self-service email distribution list system which allows University of Wisconsin-Madison faculty, staff, and students to construct and maintain their own email distribution lists using powerful list distribution software.
  • AdvisorList
    Self-service and automated no-charge system that allows Advisors to personalize multiple email distribution lists based upon their Advisees and Advisee criteria such as Term, Class, Academic Plan, and Cumulative GPA.
  • Classlist
    Automated no-charge system that allows faculty and TAs to have email distribution lists generated based upon their course enrollment
  • WiscList Custom
    Customized mailing lists that are automatically populated with members of a requested demographic.
  • Mass Email
    UW-Madison faculty or staff can send mass email relevant to UW-Madison’s mission of teaching, research and public service through DoIT.
