Secure File Transfers

Files with sensitive data that are transferred from one physical location to another should be considered a candidate for the Secure Transfer process. Customer Application Services (CAS) works with customers who request secure file transfers to gather information to coordinate the security, setup of account(s), file transfer protocol, programming changes, job and jobstream setup, scheduling, and more. Once the transfer goes into production, the appropriate Job Scheduling Services (JSS) technician becomes responsible for such things as monitoring, problem identification and resolution, and customer liaison for existing transfers.

Since each request can be unique, it is important that the coordination be done as consistently as possible and by a single source.
