Job Scheduling Services

Automated job scheduling allows for centralized management of the production application environment and automation of operator activities across multiple platforms and operating systems in a distributed environment. Centralized job scheduling controls applications so they run at the correct time, in the proper order of execution and provide monitoring services to ensure applications terminate normally and problem management with error reports for the jobs that do not terminate normally. It is imperative in a distributed environment to have job scheduling that includes proactive event management that is coordinated across widely distributed networked computing resources.
