Here are some telephone tips that can save money and time:
- Calling overseas or long distance from your campus desk phone? Always dial 8 first. Overseas calls are likely to connect to a cellphone, and dialing 9 first can result in very high charges.
- For local calls and toll-free calls, dial 9.
- When you finish checking your voice mails by telephone, always press the star key (*) to make sure the voice mail system disconnects.
- Use Web Phone Manager to manage your voice mail messages.
