Bob Ash (Chair) has been with DoIT since 2004. Working as a member of Customer Application Services, Bob oversees much of the day to day operation of Streaming Media Services. These duties include customer service, billing, live event production, website management, service documentation, account management & purchase requests. Prior to his employment at DoIT, Bob was an adjunct faculty member in the UW-Madison Art department. He is a graduate of both the University of Minnesota and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. |

Mary Evansen is a member of the Communications group at DoIT and has worked at DoIT since 1988. She actually began at MACC, a DoIT predecessor. Before coming to DoIT, Mary was an account executive at a Madison ad agency. She now works on marketing and promotions for the Tech Store, Apple, the Help Desk, RaDS, WISC software, and Software Training for Students. She also does marketing research, including the annual faculty/staff and student surveys. Mary holds a Bachelor of Science degree from UW-Oshkosh in Radio, TV & Film.

Hildy Feen has been with DoIT since January, 1995, joining right after the big N. Dean Meyer re-org. She has been involved with eLearning services for her complete DoIT career, starting with the First Class service. As a member of Academic Technology/LIRA, Hildy is the technical support team lead for the Learn@UW service. She has a BA in Psychology from Clark University, Worcester, MA. |

Jack Lepak (Assembly Representative) has been with DoIT since May of 1999. He began in the Help Desk as the Second Shift Team Lead. About a year later, Second and Third shifts were combined under his supervision. In December of 2002, he became the Assistant Help Desk Manager, overseeing all Level 1 Help Desk operations and Level 2 Advanced Desktop Support operations. Prior to joining DoIT, he worked in technical support at both TDS-CS and Softmart/Sitel. Jack has a BS in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Peter Mann (Assembly Representative) has been with DoIT, and one of its predecessors, Administrative Data Processing (ADP), for over 15 years and is a Senior Information Processing Consultant in Customer Application Services within the Systems Engineering and Operations department. Peter's responsibilities include managing DoIT's Learn@UW and Streaming Media services, with a primary focus on improving service quality and managing resources. These services are available to all UW System campuses, including UW-Madison, and offer reliable, robust academic technologies. Peter earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Tamara Walker joined DoIT in August 2005 as a Team Lead for the Help Desk. She is currently the Help Desk Knowledge Base Coordinator and lead of the Help Desk Enterprise Application Support Team (EAST). Prior to joining DoIT, Tamara worked with the UW-Madison Athletic Department as the Technical Services Help Desk Coordinator and with Beilstein Information Systems as a Trainer and Help Desk Representative. Tamara earned her B.S. in Chemistry from Georgia Tech and her M.S. in Chemistry from UW-Madison. |

Michelle McKiernan has been with the Information Technology Academy (ITA) since 2006, as an Outreach/Academic Support Specialist. ITA is a precollege program that began in 1999 as DoIT’s response to UW’s Plan 2008. Prior to joining the ITA staff, Michelle was a school counselor and adult literacy instructor in California. She has a B.A. in Psychology and an M.S. in counseling, both from CSU Long Beach.

Collin Cudd joined DoIT’s Help Desk in October of 2009 as an Associate Information Processing Consultant. Currently he works with a number of service teams within DoIT in order to provide quality assurance and the highest level of customer service for UW students and staff. Prior to becoming a full time staff member he attended the University of Wisconsin Madison where he was a member of the UW Wrestling team,and a student employee with the Help Desk. Collin has a BS in Agricultural Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Ty Christian began working at the help desk in 2004 as a student phone agent. Later, he became the help desk's SLP Technician, and was placed in charge of maintaining the help desk's computer hardware and operating system images. Ty graduated from UW-Madison in 2008 with a triple major in Computer Science, Japanese, and East Asian Studies. After escaping from a job at a Middleton software company, Ty returned to the help desk in December 2008 as a full time employee. Ty currently serves as a help desk liaison to Resnet, along with his various help desk duties. |
