| Peter Kaufman
has been with DoIT since 1985 as an Academic Staff member working in
various groups within the organization beginning with the Statistics
group converting SPSS for the Univac, then onto the Database group,
Micro Information Center, the Social Sciences MicroLab, POST, NST and
is currently in EIS’ Middleware group.
He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and has since
continued to take University classes.
He believes that there are great benefits to working
at the University. Whether Academic or Classified staff, he thinks employees
are unaware (as he was) of the access to furthering education, recreational
facilities, and additional monetary value in terms of benefits (retirement,
etc) of working there. He attended a few of CASI’s informational sessions
and found them to be quite valuable. He is excited about the direction
CASI is heading and hopes to play a role in furthering that work. |
