DoIT CASI is looking for new members
The DoIT Committee on Academic Staff Issues (CASI) strives to create a work environment that helps all DoIT staff thrive, not just academic staff. Over the past few years, CASI has surveyed DoIT staff to determine what types of presentations are most beneficial to you, and sponsored several presentations including a performance evaluation panel discussion, presentations by professional speakers, and a UW employee benefits and discounts discussion.
Appropriate release time will be arranged for each member. Typically, the time commitment is 1.5 hours for the monthly meeting and there may be additional work on a subcommittee where you may spend and additional 3-4 hours a month as needed. Time will be billed to the CASI project number. We encourage managers and staff to participate. The list of eligible academic staff is attached for your review and consideration.
If you would like to be part of the DoIT CASI please download the Statement of Interest and email to casi@doit.wisc.edu.
DoIT CASI
The DoIT CASI was established in January 2000 to advise the CIO on matters concerning Academic Staff members. Our initial elections were in February 2000. We are a group of people who are committed to representing the best interests of the Academic Staff at DoIT. The CASI representatives meet on a monthly basis to discuss issues of concern to Academic Staff.
Please feel free to contact any of the CASI committee representatives with
questions or concerns at casi@doit.wisc.edu.
