Low-cost Training
WiscCal has partnered with DoIT Professional Technical Education (PTE) to offer short, low-cost training to WiscCal users. You can send a group of employees from your department or simply join other individuals from across campus to learn the features of WiscCal. To see a list of upcoming trainings and review the training topics, visit PTE. You can also view a .pdf version of the training packet used in the course. To register, email classes@doit.wisc.edu or call (608) 262-3605.
Free Training for WiscCal Plus Users
Departments making the transition to WiscCal Plus have the ability to identify a few key users who can attend free WiscCal training. These users are generally individuals who will be managing others’ calendars, resources or administering WiscCal for the department. Contact us to arrange for one of these free trainings.
Free Consulting
If you have questions or need assistance in setting up your group's use of WiscCal Plus, the WiscCal staff is always available to meet with you at no additional cost to your group. Contact us to arrange a time to meet.
Attend a Demo
Not sure you’re ready to commit quite yet? Attend a free one-hour demonstration periodically offered by the WiscCal Service Team or view a past demo. Visit PTE for a listing of upcoming demonstrations.
Student Organizations
DoIT’s Software Training for Students program provides training to student organizations to show you the most effective ways to communicate and share information with your group. The training not only covers setting up meetings and keeping track of schedules with WiscCal, but also covers how to create listserves. For more information regarding this class, please contact Software Training for Students at sts@doit.wisc.edu.
