WisCal is the free campus-wide calendaring and scheduling application. WiscCal provides a broad set of features to help individuals and groups at the UW manage their time more effectively.
Remember, if you want advanced functionality we offer WiscCal Plus.
How to Start Using WiscCal
WiscCal is available in two formats:
- Use a desktop/native client, which means you download the calendar software directly on to your desktop. Although loading the software on your desktop requires a few additional steps, it is the best option, providing an easier and more user-friendly interface. You can download/install one of several desktop applications, depending on your environment (i.e., Mac, Windows, PDA).
WiscCal currently runs on a system called Oracle Calendar. As you download the desktop application, you may come across this name. Simply proceed according to the installation instructions, and do not be confused by the multiple application names you will encounter. - Use the web-based version available immediately by clicking on the calendar icon on the My UW-Madison portal or go directly to the web login page for WiscCal.
