Calendaring
WiscCal is the enterprise-level campus calendaring and scheduling application available at no cost to all UW-Madison students, faculty, staff and departments. WiscCal provides a broad set of features to help users manage their time more effectively and set meetings with the roughly 70,000 other campus stakeholders who have WiscCal accounts.
Ways to Access WiscCal

With roughly 13,000 unique faculty and staff logins to WiscCal, nearly 70% of UW-Madison employees (and 200 campus units) use WiscCal for at least a portion of their work. Find out why
- Install the Oracle Calendar desktop or "native" client software on your computer, which provides the most flexible, user-friendly interface for accessing and managing your calendar. Clients are available for download for Mac, Windows, Linux and Solaris, and there is also an Oracle "Connector" available for Outlook users.
- Use the WiscCal web client (i.e., the web-based interface that allows you to check your calendar from any computer with Internet access). You can log in to the web client through this WiscCal web site, www.wisc.edu, the My UW-Madison portal and many other campus web sites.
- Install a native client on your personal digital assistant (PDA) so that you can sync it to your WiscCal calendar. Oracle Calendar Syncs are available for Palm, Windows Mobile, Blackberry and iPhone (via Synthesis AG's Todo+Cal+Sync application).
WiscCal Plus extends the basic services of WiscCal for campus groups and departments. An administrative web site allows WiscCal Plus Administrators to authorize departmental WiscCal users, manage resources (e.g., conference rooms, vacation calendars), create role-based accounts and delegate calendar access rights to others.
Training
Students can attend free WiscCal training by visiting Software Training for Students. Faculty and staff can attend training by visiting Professional Technical Education and viewing the "calendar" category.
