Biocomputing

The BioComp UNIX biocomputing service features the GCG Wisconsin Package software for sequence analysis from Accelrys (formerly the Genetics Computer Group).

The GCG Wisconsin Package has three interfaces:

  • SeqWeb, a web interface that allows access to a core set of the software from a web browser.
  • SeqLab, a windowing interface that uses industry-standard X-windows with a mouse and pull-down menus.
  • The command-line interface, which is scriptable for repetitive analyses.
