Filing for an Exception

University of Wisconsin-Madison Policy Point #5

Point #5 of the UW policy provides contact information for individuals that feel their web page can't be made accessible.

Individuals are able to file for exceptions to the web accessibility policy. An appeal for an exception is sent to the CIO's office at the Division of Information Technology. Requests for exceptions are examined by the CIO's office with advise from an accessibility committee prior to consulting with the exception requestee.
