DoIT Number System is Now Available

You may now setup your DoIT Numbers for use in purchasing DoIT products and services, after July 1, 2007. You will be able to create, view and maintain your DoIT Numbers from the following web site:
https://www.doit.wisc.edu/about/billing/doitnumber/

Madison Campus Internal Requisitions have served as spending approval and provided accurate funding to allow the processing of charges and payments between Madison campus units. Beginning July 1, 2007, the Madison Campus conversion to SFS will no longer allow for the use of Madison Campus Internal Requisitions. So a new method is needed to enable convenient, quick, accurate purchases from DoIT.

Our replacement for campus internal requisitions purchases from DoIT is the new “DoIT Numbers” system.

1. You can now set up your DoIT Numbers for use after July 1, 2007.
   
   
2. The DoIT Number System is web-based and will allow DoIT Customers to maintain their DoIT Numbers.
   
   This will include:
   Setup of new DoIT Numbers.
   Maintenance of the DoIT Number funding strings.
   Closing or temporarily suspending DoIT Numbers.
   Maintenance of the effective dates DoIT Number funding strings.
