Professional Technical Education
Professional Technical Education (PTE) is the training division of DoIT. We provide a full continuum of affordable workforce training services to UW staff, their family members and the broader community, including free courses and custom training.

Academic Technology Workshops and Training
Academic Technology provides free training to faculty and staff who support the creation of instructional materials used in a UW-Madison timetable course. Each semester the following series and workshops are offered: Presentation Technology Series, Web Development Series, Audio Video Series, Learn@UW Skill Sessions and e-Pedagogy Sessions.

Digital Media Center Assistance/Consults
The DMC Design Lab is open to faculty, staff and graduate students across campus working on UW projects related to research and/or teaching. The lab is equipped with the software, equipment and staff to help you with your instructional multimedia needs. DMC consultants are trained in a wide variety of applications and equipment.
